Every cabinet of art supplies should have this medium in it. It is ready to use right from the package. It is water based and non-toxic. It is compatible with water other water based media, polymer clay, and even oil based paints can be use over the cured Powertex.

It is a textile hardener. Powertex will harden almost any fiber that it will soak into. Natural fabrics, yarns, rope, leaves and organic material, leather, paper, and much more can be hardened.

It is used as a fabric hardener for fine art sculptures and garden statues. Saturate fabric and wrap around or drape it over an armature to create figurative, abstract, or other types of sculpture. Use the natural color of materials with transparent Powertex, or create a bronze, or other colors of sculpture.

Powertex is a mixed media art medium. Use it on canvas, wood, glass, or other surfaces. Add dry pigments for on-canvas color mixing or palette mixing for infinite color variation. Create textures or adhere many different materials together into a single art piece.
